Kranthi Kiran Mudigonda
Kranthi Kiran Mudigonda is a renowned Carnatic violinist based in Australia. He began his musical journey under the guidance of Sri P.S.S.R Jagannatham and Sri N. C. Ramanujam and then went on to receive advanced training from the eminent Vidwan Sri Dwaaram Satyanarayana Rao in Hyderabad. Currently, he is under the advanced tutelage of Hyderabad Brothers for vocal training and ‘Kalaimamani’ Parur Sri M A Sundareswaran for violin.
Kiran’s expertise is not limited to just the violin, as he is also trained in Mridangam and Kanjira under renowned Gurus Sri Varanasi Kaliprasad Babu, Sri Nerkunam Sankar, Sri Melakaveri K Balaji, and Sri Patri Satish Kumar.
With vast experience in accompanying both local and visiting artists for various concerts across Australia, Kiran has had the honor of accompanying some of the most reputed musicians and dancers in the industry. These include Sri D Raghavachary (Hyderabad Brothers), Carnatica Brothers, Sri O S Arun, Smt Charulatha Mani, Sri Sankaran Namboodri, Padmabhushan Sri C V Chandrasekhar (Bharatanatyam dance exponent), Padmasri Dr Ananda Shankar Jayanth (Bharatanatyam dance exponent), and many others.
Kiran has also been involved in various cross-genre collaborations and creative developments, including working with Belvoir Street Theatre Company for their award-winning play “Counting and Cracking,” which was featured in the Sydney Festival 2019. Recently, he toured the UK with Belvoir Street Theatre Company and performed at prestigious events such as the Edinburgh International Festival and The Birmingham Rep Theatre.
